Conferences: Franz von Bradsky was named chairman of the Northwest Growth Financing Conference, to be held in Seattle Aug. 7.
Family services: Eve Ruff was appointed chemical-dependency specialist and addiction-recovery coordinator at Jewish Family Service.
Financial services: Russell Schmidtke joined the Carkonen-Acarregui Group at Smith Barney as a financial adviser.
Foundations: Lisa Jaguzny was hired by the Campion Foundation as the executive director.
Public relations: John Beale joined Weber Shandwick as executive vice president of the global-technology practice.
Restaurants: Mark Linden was hired as executive chef at Spencer's for Steaks and Chops, SeaTac.
