Seattle area
Advertising: Cindy Dunbar was hired as director of account management at Hydrogen Advertising.
Architecture: Steve Johnston was hired as a senior project manager on the large projects team at Weber Thompson.
Banking/finance: Lisa Russell was hired as chief financial officer of Alaska Trust. Robert Perry and James Bartel joined Seattle Savings Bank. Lynne Fricks joined First Sound Bank as an assistant vice president and cash management officer.
Commercial real estate: Theddi Chappell joined Cushman & Wakefield as managing director.
Communications: Joseph Lovejoy was named senior vice president and chief financial officer at Fisher Communications.
Consulting: Christian Aaselund joined West Monroe Partners as a director in its Seattle office.
Design: Karen Fischer was hired as director of design at Dillon Works.
Distribution: David Ewton was hired as Seattle District market manager at Graybar.
Engineering: Rick Grove, Deborah Agner and Micah Brewer were hired at CDi Engineers, Lynnwood.
Health care: Emma Medicine White Crow was named community outreach coordinator of the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Law: Nathaniel Gilder joined Jensen and Puntigam. Heritage Filer joined McKinley Irvin as an attorney and Chris Morgan was hired by the firm as an accountant. Betsy Maurer joined Carney Badley Spellman. Nelson Dong, of Dorsey & Whitney, was elected a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.

Television: Paul Jackson was named major gifts manager at KCTS 9.
Theater: Katie Jackman joined the Seattle Repertory Theatre as director of communications and marketing.
Youth Services: Rachel Doxtater was promoted to communications and public relations director, Angela Arzaga to communications assistant and Terry McKiel to resource development manager at the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.

Advisory services: Eddie Pasatiempo joined The Clarion Group, as a partner, in their Kirkland office.
