Airlines: Elizabeth Ryan was named managing director of labor relations — air and Gary Beck was named vice president of flight operations at Alaska Airlines.
Associations: Jack Goldberg, president of Personnel Management Systems, was elected president of the Seattle Executives Association.
Forest products: Claire Grace was named a vice president at Weyerhaeuser, Federal Way.
Insurance: Rauline Gonzales Ochs was named executive vice president for sales and marketing at Safeco.
Investing: Stephen Roche was named president and chief operating officer at Guidant Financial Group.
Law: Tana Lin and Amy Williams-Derry were named partners at Keller Rohrback. John Baier joined Davis Wright Tremaine. Cindy Caditz and Rodney Tullett joined Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness. Alice Wong was named a principal and Jessica Nguyen joined Cairncross & Hempelmann. Karl Quackenbush and Bryce Holland Jr. joined Riddell Williams as principals. Seth Berntsen and Akane Suzuki were promoted to owners at Garvey Schubert Barer.
Manufacturing: Eric Thormann was hired as managing director at Power Climber, a division of SafeWorks.
Real estate: Steve Fiksdal joined Ewing & Clark as managing director. Lars Anderson joined Wallace Properties as associate general counsel.
Retail: Jean Marie Benz was hired as head designer/director of design and development at Zovo.
Technology: Liviu Siteanu was hired as director of sales at LINK Conference Service.
