Seattle area
Airlines: Ginny Carruthers was named director of government affairs at Alaska Air Group.
Associations: Jason Bloom, chairman of Elliott Bay Mortgage, was elected president of the Washington Association of Mortgage Brokers, Edmonds.
Banking/investment: Patrick Payne was appointed director of research of investment-banking services at Alexander Hutton. William Pearce was named associate director at Marcus & Millichap Capital's Seattle office. Kristen Juan-Snyder was named branch manager, Dennis Montgomery senior vice president, Keith Dingfield vice president and DeAnna Raihl assistant vice president at Peoples Bank's new office in Ballard.
Beverages: Michael Spain was appointed director of business and legal affairs, and Jeff Taylor national sales manager at Zevia.
Development: Stephanie Keller was appointed director of marketing at Tarragon.
Education: Sharice Giacomini was named president of the International Academy of Design and Technology, Tukwila.
Interactive services: Jim Watson was promoted to vice president and managing director, and Jonathan Rosoff to vice president of strategy and customer insights at Avenue A | Razorfish.
Law: James Howard was named a partner at Dorsey & Whitney. Brandon Carroll joined Betts, Patterson & Mines.
Research: Mike Tannourji was named senior vice president of sales at Onvia.
Technology: Leon Drozdowski was named vice president of operations, and Don Campbell vice president, strategic development, at Etelos, Renton. John Watson was hired as senior vice president for sales and marketing at DUX Area.
