Architecture: Guy Maluda and Mark Wong were named project managers and Cynthia Johnson interior designer at Clark/Kjos Architects.

Aviation: Mike Stowell was appointed executive vice president at Aviation Partners Boeing.

Biomedical: Jim Gore was named vice president of the Pacific Northwest Research Institute.

Commercial Real Estate: Paul Carr was promoted to first vice president of healthcare properties at CB Richard Ellis. Robert Stevenson joined First American Properties, Bainbridge Island.

Insurance: Felix Huang was hired as vice president of corporate development and Diane Kelleher as vice president of corporate planning and analysis at Safeco.

Law: Rachel Dobrow Stone joined Davis Wright Tremaine. Andrew Cates, Owen Dahl, Erica Heinrich, Rachel Le Mieux and Philip Palaveev were promoted to partner at Moss Adams.

Marketing: Greg Tamura was hired as associate director, media at Wongdoody.

Mortgages: Paul Johnson was named a senior loan consultant at Network Mortgage Services, Lynnwood.

Nonprofits: Stephanie Cherrington was named executive director at Explorations in Math.

Publishing: Jay Goldstein was promoted to vice president of marketing at All Star Directories.

Technology: Robert Bergquist was named chief executive and president of Widemile.
