Shares of Seattle-base Isilon Systems fell $5.37, or 36 percent, to close at $9.54 today after the company reduced its revenue forecast.

The maker of digital media storage devices said it expects sales of as much as $27.5 million in the third quarter. The average estimate from eight analysts was $31.8 million, according to a Bloomberg survey. The company also reduced its revenue forecast for the year.

Isilon went public in December at $13, and shares quickly climbed past $25, only to slump into the teens this past spring.
