Two Washington companies predicting travel patterns were recognized at the 2007 WSA Industry Achievement Awards, according to an advance...

Two Washington companies predicting travel patterns were recognized at the 2007 WSA Industry Achievement Awards, according to an advance list of winners released Wednesday.

The traffic-prediction software of Kirkland-based Inrix, Smart Dust Network and the Traffic Fusion Engine, won Breakthrough Technology of the Year.

Seattle-based Farecast.com, which predicts whether airfares will rise or fall, won Consumer Product of the Year.

The winner for Business Product of the Year was Seattle-based Attenex, for its Patterns E-Discovery Software.

PTSO of Washington was named Service Provider of the Year and its work on physician practice management and electronic medical records earned the Best Use of Technology in the Government or Nonprofit.

Chris Diorio, chairman and chief technology officer at semiconductor maker Impinj, was named Technology Innovator of the Year.
