Seattle area
Aerospace: Dean McColgan and Liz Vivian were hired as managers to lead Boeing's Global Corporate Citizenship's NW Region.
Banking: Stephen Lozano was promoted to Washington regional manager at Union Bank of California. Molly Toth was promoted to vice president of branch operations and Tom Eshorn was hired as vice president of commercial lending at 1st Security Bank of Washington, Mountlake Terrace.
Colleges/universities: Clark Westmoreland was appointed executive director at University of Washington Educational Outreach.
Consulting: Dave Boland was promoted to managing director at Point B Solutions Group. Jared Moore was elected an associate principal and named area manager at Carter & Burgess.
Executive services: Kenneth Battié, Timothy Chrobuck, Jeffrey Schaefer, Steven Numata, Lorelie Kaid and Douglas Womer were hired as partners at Tatum.
Health care: Michael VanDerhoef was named president of Virginia Mason Foundation and vice president of Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Leslie Walker was appointed chief of the Adolescent Medicine Division at Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center.
Hotels, resorts: Carol Baetzel was appointed corporate director of public relations at Noble Hotels and Resorts.
Law: John Sharp joined Stoel Rives. Kyle Karinen joined Gordon Thomas Honeywell Malanca Peterson Daheim. Steven Boyd was named a shareholder at Amicus Law Group. Michael Droke will lead Dorsey & Whitney's Seattle office.
Market research: Jackie Weise was promoted to vice president for field-services sales and Mitchell Thornburgh was promoted to director, business development and client services, field and tab division, at Informa Research Services.
Wealth management: Mary Justice was appointed managing director and head of U.S. Trust's Pacific Northwest offices.
