Seattle area
Advertising: Christine Allen was named director of broadcast production at Cole & Weber / Red Cell.
Coffee: Mark DaCosta was appointed to vice president of wholesale operations and Dean Olson to senior director of licensing and business development at Tully's Coffee.
Construction: Leon Borden, Dave Killian, Gerard McGlynn and Mike Richotte were promoted to senior superintendents at Skanska USA Building.
Engineering: George Bias joined the Harris Group's industrial-manufacturing business unit as a project manager and process engineer.
Law: Alice Le Truong joined Cairncross & Hempelmann as an associate attorney. N. Ari Long, an attorney with Woodcock Washburn, was appointed chairman of the King County Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section.
Technology: Douglas Fletcher was named interim chief financial officer at Flow International, Kent.
Transportation: Wayne Wentz was hired as traffic- operations manager with the Seattle Department of Transportation.
Eastside
Assisted living: Dr. Soher Bishai was named executive director at Overlake Terrace, Redmond.
Colleges: Linda Hendrickson was named executive director of the Cascadia Community College Foundation, Bothell.
Consulting: Paul Hausmann was appointed to partner at ERM, Bellevue.

Demolition: Dave Whitley was promoted to senior vice president and Scott Saunders to chief financial officer at Nuprecon, Snoqualmie.
Engineering: Martin Maingot was hired as a project manager, Sabet Vallejo as a senior engineer and Bhavna Krishan as a design engineer at Cary Kopczynski & Co., Bellevue.
Finance: Melissa Andrews was hired as client-relations director and Najat Cola as marketing director at The ClearView Group, Issaquah.
Medical products: Graham Cox was appointed vice president of international business at SonoSite, Bothell.
Organizations: Tom Sulewski was elected to the board of directors of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce.
