"Labyrinth" by Kat Richardson (Roc, $24.95). In the Seattle author's latest Greywalker novel, set in a limbo "between the living room and the paranormal realm," heroine Harper Blaine — after being dead for 2 minutes — tries to find out who "killed" her. "Discovering Your Amazing Marriage" by Jason and Debby Coleman (Seraphina Press, $14.95). Two Federal Way authors "share some of the secrets they found to help reignite the romance, respect and love in their relationship." "Between the Two Rivers: A Story of the Armenian Genocide" by Aida Kouyoumjian (Coffeetown Press, $19.95). A Bellevue College teacher's book about her mother and aunt who, as young girls, survived the persecutions of the Ottoman Empire during World War I.

"War Dances" by Sherman Alexie (Grove, $14). New in paperback: the prizewinning Seattle writer's 2009 collection of stories and poems. Times book editor Mary Ann Gwinn wrote: "Alexie mixes up comedy and tragedy, shoots it through with tenderness, then delivers with a provocateur's don't-give-a-damn flourish."

"Rusty the Robot's Holiday Adventure" by Sherry Decker and Michael McCarty (Sam's Dot Publishing, $7). Tales for readers ages 8-12 about an abandoned robot living in a "Forbidden Zone" near a futuristic city. Co- author Decker lives near Seattle.
