The author, journalist and host of the "Democracy Now!" radio and television news program returns to Seattle to discuss her latest book, the collection of essays "Breaking the Sound Barrier," along with editor Denis Moynihan. 3 p.m. Tuesday, Elliott Bay Book Co., 101 S.
