Authors Christopher S. Parker and Tony Angell have Seattle-area appearances

The University of Washington assistant professor of political science will discuss his book "Fighting for Democracy: Black Veterans and the Struggle Against White Supremacy in the Postwar South" at University Book Store tonight.
