Authors Jerry Brewer, Martin Limón and Kirby Larson make Seattle-area appearances
A selection of new titles by Washington authors, or of local interest.
Jerry Brewer
The Seattle Times sports columnist and author of "Gloria's Miracle," along with members of Gloria Strauss' family, will discuss his book about Gloria's battle with cancer and sign copies. Kirby Larson
A children's book about the heartwarming story of a wild dog who refused to lose his friend, a Marine in Iraq, is featured Saturday at Third Place Books. Kenmore author Larson will discuss the book "Nubs: The True Story of a Mutt, a Marine and a Miracle" that she cowrote with Maj. Martin Limón
The Lynnwood author will sign his book "G.I. Bones" at Seattle Mystery Bookshop. "G.I. Bones" is the latest in the Sueño & Bascom mystery series and involves the murder of a G.I. in Seoul's red-light district.
