Tickets are now on sale for May's Skagit Valley Poetry Festival, which this year features poet and educator Lucille Clifton.
Clifton, a National Book Award-winning poet known for her exploration of identity as an African American and a woman, will kick off the festival with a special solo reading May 15. Other poets among the 37 appearing at the festival include Washington State poet laureate Samuel Green, David Wagoner and Robert Wrigley. An all-festival Poet's Pass is $50.
