Boeing will issue 60-day layoff notices to about 250 employees companywide today, alerting them they may be laid off on Aug. 21.
About 140 of those notices are going to Commercial Airplanes employees, a company spokesman said. Approximately 150 Puget Sound area employees in various Boeing divisions are getting 60-day notices.
