Some of Bellevue's downtown streets will be closed Sunday evening to accommodate traffic from crowds there for the Fourth of July fireworks.

The street closures will start at 9:30 p.m., shortly before fireworks at Bellevue Downtown Park begin at 10:05 p.m. The city is shutting down Northeast Fourth between 100th Avenue Northeast and Bellevue Way and also 100th Avenue Northeast between Northeast First and Fifth streets.

The streets will open one-way after the fireworks to help clear out downtown, allowing eastbound traffic on Northeast Fourth and northbound traffic on 100th Avenue. There will be some additional restrictions for turns, including:

• No right turns from 100th Avenue to Northeast Eighth Street. Drivers are permitted to turn right on Northeast 10th Street.
• No left turns from southbound 102nd Avenue Northeast to eastbound Northeast Eighth Street.
• No left turns from southbound Bellevue Way onto eastbound Northeast Fourth Street. Bellevue Way is open southbound to drivers headed to I-90 or I-405.
