Bellevue's newest high-end shopping destination is set to open this week at The Bravern, and the Bellevue Blog writers will be on hand as department store Neiman Marcus and luxury retailers like Tory Burch and Jimmy Choo open their first stores in the Pacific Northwest.

The media day includes a tour of Neiman Marcus, and we'll try to get a sneak peek at some other Bravern stores. I've got great expectations for Jimmy Choo after a press release described the shoe store like walking into a "'lady's dressing room, a woman's boudoir,'" according to president and founder Tamara Mellon.
