Man dies in single-car crash in Bellevue
Posted by Nicole Tsong
A man in his 20s died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash on West Lake Sammamish Parkway near Vasa Park, Bellevue police said.
Our story this morning said the driver was headed northbound on West Lake Sammamish at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of a white Chevrolet Avalanche on a curve, hit a fence and smashed into a light pole, police said. The crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. in the 3500 block of the parkway.
The driver's identity has not been released. We'll update as more information comes in.
