ArtsPage
The Seattle area is home to a vibrant arts scene — there's always something going on in theaters, concert halls, galleries, museums. How to keep up? ArtsPage will showcase work by some of The Seattle Times' expert fine-arts writers, to help you navigate local art offerings. We'll include news, observations, images, humor, links and ways for you to join the conversation, too.
Seattle viewers, you love your 'Downton Abbey'
How much do you love it? So much, that you made last Sunday's two-hour episode (broadcast locally on KCTS) second only to the Grammy Awards in the Seattle market, according to television station KING 5.
And KCTS is consistently the No. 1 or No. 2 PBS station in the country for "Abbey" ratings.
What's up with this, Seattle viewers? Is it the hats? Maggie Smith? The rain?
