Jan Lisiecki: Amazing, gifted and 16

Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki has several awards, festival invitations and a recording contract under his belt, and, according to reviewer Melinda Bargreen, these are well-deserved.
His performance in the UW President's Piano Series on Wednesday night was not the loud-and-fast spiel one might expect from a young up-and-comer; instead, the audience heard works played with "delicacy and restraint" in some cases, and "glittering dexterity" in others.
