Best banh mi? You be the judge

Tongues have been wagging about Vietnamese sandwiches after New York Times writer Jordan Michelman took up the subject this week, agreeing to disagree on who makes the best banh mi in America.
"The Pacific Northwest's Vietnamese community is thriving, and consequentially, Seattle has dozens of excellent banh mi options," writes Michelman. "The consensus pick seems to be Saigon Deli, in the bustling International District neighborhood."
"Says who?" says me.
My pick would be Yeh Yeh's in Lynnwood, unfortunately closed today while the owners celebrate Vietnamese New Year -- or I'd have had one of their jam-packed baguettes for lunch. Instead, I hit another Vietnamese food hotspot, Seattle Deli in Edmonds, sister-shop to the Little Saigon version off 12th and Jackson.
So, do tell: Where's your favorite Seattle-area banh mi stop? I'm heading out to do a little comparison shopping over the next couple of weeks and intend to discuss the results -- your top-spots among them -- when I'm full-up.
A trio of banh mi from Seattle Deli: BBQ pork ($2.50), fried tofu ($2) and chicken ($2.25). Throw in a couple of egg rolls and a pair of shrimp-filled Vietnamese spring rolls and you've got a big lunch for three -- for less than $10!
