2010 Bloggies. And the award goes to . . . 17 and Baking
Posted by Nancy Leson
Movies have the Oscars, music has the Grammys, blogging has the Bloggies and the Bloggies -- the 10th Annual Weblog Awards -- have announced their winners for 2010. Among them: The Huffington Post (for politics), TMZ (gossip), Wired (technology) and in the teen-blogger category, a high school senior from Bellevue who loves to bake. Remember Elissa Bernstein, the 17-year-old blogger I told you about right here? Turns out I'm not the only one who thinks her 17 and Baking blog takes the cake.

Yo, yo, ma! Bake this gorgeous cake. Elissa did. [photo courtesy 17 and Baking]
Congratulations, Elissa! The Bloggies winning check for $20.10 might not buy you a commercial-size Silpat, but the nod can't hurt. May your next win be a big fat scholarship to the college of your choice! (And I'm talking about you, Brown University!)
