A tale of four counties

Median prices of single-family homes have steadily increased in the Puget Sound region over the past five years, while the number of sales has dropped in some areas. The figures are based on median sales prices rather than price per square foot.

Homes are not taking much longer to sell, according to these figures. But this may not accurately reflect the situation, since a home that doesn't sell can be taken off the market and then put back on later.
