Bellevue Crime Database
About the data:This database is compiled from press releases issued by the Bellevue Police Department (BPD) and will be updated regularly. For 2009 the database includes the following types of incidents: arson, assault (misdemeanor and felony), burglary (greater than $1,000), domestic violence (physical), exposure, indecent liberties, kidnapping, lewd conduct, malicious mischief (greater than $1,000), missing persons, murder, questionable actions, rape, robbery (weapon and strong arm), suicide and theft (greater than $1,000). In 2008 the BPD released a more complete set of crimes, including incidents such as motor vehicle theft/prowl, disturbance, threat and shoplifting. The database is missing reports from May 8-18 of this year due to a staffing problem at BPD.
