Stillaguamish Tribe buying land near casino

A previous version of this story contained several errors. The Stillaguamish Tribe has increased its land holdings from about 300 acres in 2004 to the current 700 acres. An incorrect number was given as the original acreage. Also, Shana Swanson, president of the Tribe's Enterprise Corporation, described economic development plans that include the casino expansion, not Tribal Executive Eddie Goodridge, Jr. Swanson also said the Tribe would add RV parking to the casino parking lot, not an RV park. And David Nelson, an agent for Towne or Country Real Estate, not Goodridge, said the Tribe is considering locating a gas station and convenience store on recently acquired property. The Tribe is hoping to build 33 houses on 80 acres of land, not 80 houses. It's grant application to the Bureau of Indian Affairs is for a road to the development, not the houses themselves.
