Passengers scramble for safety as buses skid, hang over freeway
A tour bus that slid and crashed into a guardrail at the intersection of East Thomas Street and Melrose Avenue ended up hanging over the guard rail overlooking Interstate 5 in Seattle. Police closed two lanes of the freeway causing traffic backups that stretched for miles.
