Blaze shows fire risk in rural areas
Firefighters clean up the remains of a home after a fire early Monday morning. The nearest fire hydrant was a half mile away and to fight the blaze, firefighters laid 1,000 feet of hose to reach out to the main road, where fire trucks ferried in water.
