Violin: the "Marsick" Strad, 1715
The Marsick, created by Antonio Stradivari in 1715, is on loan from the collection to violinist James Ehnes, the award-winning young musician from Canada who plays the violins and violas on the recording. He calls the Marsick "the violin I had to have."
